Free Bike Classes plus $1,000 off of E-Bikes with Project Mover

Summer is in full swing in the Rivertowns with Project MOVER! We’re hosting two upcoming bike skills classes in July that you can share with your communities.
The first class this month will be this Saturday, July 11, at the Dobbs Ferry Library at 11am. This class will not have an on-bike portion and will be lecture-only. The second class is on Saturday, July 18 at the Municipal Building Community Room in Croton-on-Hudson at 10am and will include both a lecture and on-bike portion. Please find a flyer attached (PNG and PDF) with information on the classes in both English and Spanish and information on how to register.
We also wanted to send a reminder that the application for the E-Bike Incentive Program (EBIP) is currently open! This program offers $1,000 off the purchase price of an e-bike at participating shops for all those who qualify.
Applications are now open for anyone who:
1.  Is over 18 years old;
 2.  Lives or works in the Village or Town of Ossining, Croton-on-Hudson, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, or Dobbs Ferry, and;
3.  Earns up to 80% of the Area Median Income or is enrolled in HEAP, SNAP, SNF, TANF, or Section 8.
The application portal will remain open and voucher recipients will be selected through random selection every first of the month, with the next drawing happening at the beginning of August. Project MOVER is partnering with Danny’s Cycles, Croton E-Bikes, and Sleepy Hollow Bikes, where vouchers can be redeemed. Applications and more information are available HERE.
