“Project Mover” Bikeshare Public Comment & Info Sessions

The Sleepy Hollow Board of Trustees (BOT) has been working to participate in a grant opportunity that would bring an e-bike share program to Sleepy (with docking stations). The program is called Project Mover. It has been rolled out in Ossining and now Project Mover is seeking the next 3 towns to proceed with the roll out. Sleepy Hollow would like to gather feedback from the public before proceeding.

There are two sessions set up:

Tuesday, October 22, 7 pm at Village Hall (28 Beekman Ave.): Go/ No Go Input

The Board of Trustees will hear from community members familiar with bike share to let the BOT know if they support, or not, Sleepy Hollow proceeding. Comments can also be provided via email to the BOT.

Wednesday, October 23, 7 pm at Warner Library: Information Session and Feedback

The second session will provide more information to the public and solicit feedback on proposed docking station locations. This one is being held jointly with Tarrytown.

Please take this survey to share your feedback with the Mayor and BOT. Thank you!

  1. Who would use this program? Would it attract more tourists like Halloween and contribute to more congestion in the village, especially on Broadway?

    1. Hi Jean, These are great questions! I encourage you to attend the two meetings to learn more, and ask your questions to our Village leaders. Thanks, Kiko Bourne
