The agenda will include a discussion of ideas to propose for NY Forward grant funding, as well as updates on the Waste Reduction Education Campaign and a discussion of light pollution.
Climate Action Plan (CAP) Update
We had our first Climate Action Plan meeting with the team at VHB and Nautilus, the consultants who are working with us on this grant-funded year-long project. We’re excited to leverage the team’s expertise to understand the Village’s climate vulnerabilities, and develop strategies for reducing our emissions and enhancing our quality of life.
The first CAP community workshop will be held in September (exact date TBD). If you have any questions in the meantime, or want to play a role in the planning process, please reach out! We look forward to learning from community input and coming up with a great plan together.
